What define "me"? Am I a body with a mind or a mind with a body?

Most will agree that although an organ like kidney, heart, etc got replaced or donated, that means you replaced a part of you or the receiver now owns a bit of you. But that does not make the person another person, unless we are talking about a brain.

Take SCP-2295. It can replace pretty much any organ but the brain. We pretty much agreed that the brain is the fundamental part of mind.

We can go as far as "brain in a jar".

Je pense, donc je suis.

One cannot prove anything but the existence of one's consciousness.

After the brain is dead, do we still have a soul? How does the body affect the body, and how the mind affect the body?

If souls exist, it would be like Socrates believed, death would relief the mind of flesh and bones. What will be thereafter?

Could it be mind is the product of life, and is inseparable to the body?

What if technology is advance enough where a mind can be uploaded and therefore abandon its hardware made of flesh and blood?

In my opinion, that would be meaningless as it is making a copy of the human mind, it is ultimately two different minds.

Existence precedes essence.

Quick explanation:

Take a file on a computer, copy and paste makes two identical yet separate files.

The fact that the pasted file is not the original document, it exist on its own is more important than it being identical to the original.

My skin is dryer than the sahara desert. When I scratch it literally crumbled off my body. Despite humidity. I drink coffee and tea like it is water dammit.

The word Orion actually looked like varient of the infamous Orz, a centaur version perhaps. Google ''reverse centaur" and it is hilarious. This is exactly what I think of cat girls and all that... guess I am no furry after all.

Scent of the day: BPAL Oblivion
The smell of oppressed, damp greens.

Track of the day: Zakk Wylde Plays Black Sabbath on Hello Kitty Mini-Guitar
After all of this, we need a little humour.
